The core of Mark Warren's Ultimate Wealth Program is the "Internet Secrets & Strategies" eBook, which offers a broad introduction to affiliate marketing — crash courses on search engine optimization, AdSense, AdWords, writing and selling informational products, and reselling software and eBooks under master resell rights. The tone is alternately straightforward and swaggering, sort of watered-down Rich Jerk. It would be nice if the index was hyperlinked to the pages. Navigation is somewhat difficult when you want to zero in a particular topic.

"Random Thoughts" is a 14-page list of bullet points, which, arguably, should have been merged into the eBook. But some of the better sales and marketing tidbits in the whole package are contained in these pages, particularly for affiliates who have little or no previous marketing experience.

About the bonus downloads…

First, the software, all for the Windows platform. You'll get applications to implement tasks such as RSS broadcasting, blogging, affiliate record-keeping, ad tracking, and autoresponding, to name a few. None of these apps would be considered best in class, but some might suffice for startup.

The InfoProduct bonuses include eBooks offering advice on RSS, building an eBay business, blogging, joining forums, getting links, generating traffic, product pricing, writing ad copy, writing and marketing informational products. Some of these bonus eBooks offer outdated technological and marketing approaches, but there are notable exceptions. You'll also receive compilations of sales letters, Flash banner ads, and scads of website templates — there are a few examples of value in each of these three categories which might at least get your creative juices flowing.

Warren makes statements in his eBook such as, "Informational products are the same." Super affiliates, by and large, became super because they had origiinal ideas. How many identical products can profitably co-exist out there?

You should also be forewarned that customer support leaves much to be desired. The post-purchase member signup form returned error messages, (again and again). After much URL-finagling in various browsers and four emails (which went unanswered), we were finally able to download the product. (Ironic, since the last three pages of the eBook are devoted to "Make Customer Service Your Priority.") We should mention that Warren also offers for-fee consultation, though for obvious reasons, we would hesitate to recommend that.

Ultimate Wealth Package is indeed a package, bulging at the seams. But the truth is, this package feels like a mishmash of shortcuts, cobbled together into a "program." In short: Ultimate Wealth Package takes the easy way out, and it seems aimed at affiliates who also want to take the easy way out. This program might make you some money, it just might.
