Article directories are not created equal. Over time, some evolve into stars, others diminish in influence.

We measure the ultimate success of an article by whether or not the reader actually clicks through to our website, then buys from us. But since our products are not your products, the EA Top Performers Chart below does not factor in conversions. The Chart reflects the article directories which have driven the most traffic to our site year-to-date.

You'll notice that most of our Top Performers fall in the 5 - 7 PR range. But that doesn't necessarily mean you should judge a site by its PageRank or Alexa Rank alone. There are plenty of stars in the PR 4 range and a few in the 0 - 3 PR range, which can help you multiply your article marketing efforts a hundredfold.

And in the end, of course, it's conversions that count. You may find that certain article directories send you higher-converting traffic, especially if your website is well-positioned to sell product(s) to referred visitors. For example, a PR 2 niche article site might convert higher for a particular niche-related article than the PR 6 - 7 general interest article directories would.
